Medix Earns Gold Seal of Approval for its Healthcare Staffing Solutions From The Joint Commission

Recertification affirms Medix meets the standards for providing safe, high-quality healthcare

(CHICAGO) FEBRUARY 26, 2025 — Solidifying its position as a leader in healthcare staffing, Medix announced today it had earned recertification of the coveted Gold Seal of Approval® from The Joint Commission. The renewed Healthcare Staffing Services Certification confirms Medix continuously meets the Commission’s performance standards and is committed to providing safe, high-quality patient care.

The Health Care Staffing Services Certification demonstrates Medix’s efforts to address how qualifications and competencies of staff are determined, placement of staff, and how their performance is monitored.

To earn recertification, Medix underwent a rigorous, unannounced review on Feb. 14. The Joint Commission evaluated compliance with related certification standards, including competency of healthcare staff, performance reviews, compliance, and emergency management. Afterward, Medix received no recommendations for improvement, a rare and prestigious result. 

The findings are a validation of Medix’s work and commitment to comply with The Joint Commission’s nationally developed standards today and going forward. Those standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts, and patients.
