Medix Relocates Its Headquarters to Village of Oak Brook 

The move brings 60 jobs to Oak Brook and Medix back to its roots, where the industry-leading healthcare and life sciences staffing company began almost 25 years ago

(CHICAGO) APRIL 8, 2025  — Illustrating its growth as an industry leader in healthcare and life sciences staffing, Medix officially announced today the relocation of its headquarters to the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, from Chicago, Illinois. The move brings 60 jobs to Oak Brook immediately, with the potential for up to 100 in the near term. 

“It’s hard to believe that this past January, we celebrated 23 years since Medix was born right here in Oak Brook in a tiny 8-by-10 foot office. From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown, relocated our headquarters downtown, expanded offices across the country, and now serve clients across nearly all 50 states,” said Andrew Limouris, President and CEO of Medix. “Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to receive recognition, including the Inc. 5000, Crain’s Fast 50, ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing Client, Talent, and Employee, SIA Largest Staffing Firms awards, and more, all testaments to our team’s hard work and unwavering commitment.

The new Medix headquarters at 1301 W. 22nd Street, Suite 1000, Oak Brook, Illinois, represents an expansion of its presence in the same office complex near Oakbrook Center and the intersection of the Tri-State Tollway system, the East-West Tollway and the Eisenhower Expressway. This prime location 15 miles from Chicago enables the company to better serve its clients, talent, and teammates. 

Medix will continue to operate in Chicago in a new office at 100 N. La Salle St. for its team members there. Locations in the Chicago suburbs and city enable Medix to provide its team with more direct talent and client reach. One of the country’s largest healthcare and life sciences staffing firms, Medix also operates offices around the United States, employing about 500 teammates combined at 20 locations.
